राजस्थान इलेक्ट्रॉनिक्स एण्ड इन्स्ट्रूमेन्ट्स लिमिटेड (रील) को “स्कॉच डिजीटल इन्कलूजन-2012“ का पुरस्कार सूचना, संचार और प्रौद्यौगिकी की श्रेणी में दिया गया| रील के प्रंबध निदेशक श्री ए.के. जैन ने दिनांक 18 सितम्बर 2012 को ‘होटल शंगरिला’ नई दिल्ली में आयोजित एक समारोह में यह पुरस्कार ग्रहण किया| इस अवसर पर माननीय केंद्रीय विधि एवं न्याय, अल्पसंख्यक मामलों के मंत्री श्री सलमान खुर्शीद, भारत सरकार, अध्यक्ष व सचिव दूरसंचार विभाग श्री आर. चन्द्रशेखर एवं श्री जे. सत्यनारायण, सचिव इलेक्ट्रॉनिक्स एवं सूचना प्रौद्योगिकी विभाग और श्री नन्दन निलेकनी, अध्यक्ष भारतीय विशिष्ट पहचान प्राधिकरण उपस्थित थे| रील को यह प्रतिष्ठित पुरस्कार नेटवर्किंग और प्रबंधन के माध्यम से सूचना, संचार और प्रौद्यौगिकी का उपयोग करके सेवा वितरण के क्षेत्र में पंचायती राज प्रोजेक्ट के ऑन-लाइन निगरानी के लिए दिया गया, जिसके तहत वेब इनेबल्ड सोल्यूशन www.reilsolar.com द्वारा 9416 सोलर पावर पैकों का राजस्थान के दूर-दराज क्षेत्रों में स्थापना, कमिशनिंग और रख-रखाव हो रहा है|

रील, भारी उद्योग एवं लोक उद्यम मंत्रालय, भारत सरकार की सार्वजनिक क्षेत्र की “मिनी रत्न” कंपनी है, जो कि गत 31 वर्षों से व्यवसायिक प्रबंधन व लाभ के पथ पर अग्रसर है| कंपनी इलेक्ट्रॉनिक्स, सूचना प्रौद्योगिकी एवं अक्षय ऊर्जा के क्षेत्र में कार्यरत है|

इस अवसर पर श्री जैन ने बताया कि भारत निर्माण राजीन गांधी सेवा केन्द्र योजना के तहत रील पूरे राजस्थान में 248 पंचायत समितियों और 9168 पंचायतों पर सोलर पावर पैक लगा रही है| य़ह केन्द्र ग्रामीण जनता के लिए ज्ञान संसाधन केन्द्र के रुप में कार्य करेगें| साथ ही महानरेगा के कुशल कार्यान्वयन में पंचायत एवं ब्लॉक स्तर पर सहायक होगें व स्थानीय लोगों में बातचीत के लिए अधिक से अधिक पारदर्शिता प्रदान करेगें| इन केन्द्रों का उपयोग सूचना प्रौद्योगिकी केन्द्र के रुप में आम आदमी तक सूचना एवं ज्ञान को सुलभ कराने व ग्रामीण जनता को सशक्त करने न सरकार के पहल को बेहतर बनाने व ग्राम पंचायतों के सुशासन में किया जायेगा|

इस अवसर पर रील के प्रंबध निदेशक श्री ए.के. जैन ने आयोजकों के साथ, जूरी, नवीन और नवीकरणीय ऊर्जा मंत्रालय, भारत सरकार, ग्रामीण विकास एवं पंचायती राज विभाग, राजस्थान सरकार, रीको एवं आई.एल. का भी आभार व्यक्त किया|

इस प्रतिष्ठित पुरस्कार के लिए श्री जैन ने रील के कर्मचारियों को बधाई दी और कहा कि कंपनी ग्रामीण जनता के सामाजिक और आर्थिक विकास के लिए इलेक्ट्रॉनिक्स, सूचना प्रौद्योगिकी एवं अक्षय ऊर्जा आधारित उत्पादों और सेवाओं में निरन्तरता बनायें रखेगी|

Rajasthan Electronics & Instruments Limited (REIL) was awarded with “Skoch Digital Inclusion Award – 2012” in the ICT category. The award was received by  Shri AK Jain, Managing Director in the ceremony held at Hotel Shangri-La, New Delhi on 18th September 2012. On this occasion Hon’ble Union Minister for Law & Justice and Ministry of Minority Affairs, Government of India, Shri Salman Khurshid, Chairman TC & Secretary(T),Department of Telecommunication, Shri R Chandrasekhar, Secretary, Department of Electronics & Information Technology, Shri J Satyanarayana and Chairman, Unique Identification Authority of India, Shri Nandan Nilekani  were present. REIL has been given this prestigious award for On-line monitoring of Panchayati Raj Project that includes all activities such as installation, Commissioning and support services through web-enabled solution www.reilsolar.com for 9416 Solar Power Packs commissioned in remote areas of  the State of Rajasthan.

The Company is engaged in taking Electronics, Information Technology & Renewable Energy to the villages of our country. 

On this occasion, Shri Jain stated that REIL is installing Solar Power Packs in 248 Panchayat Samities and 9168 Gram Panchayats in the state of Rajasthan, under Bharat Nirman Rajiv Gandhi Seva Kendra Yojana. These centers will function as knowledge resource center of rural masses. In addition to this it will also help in efficient implementation of MGNREGA at panchayat and block level and in providing transparent interaction with the local people. These centers will function as technology driven information technology service centers to facilitate information, knowledge and to provide better administration to Government initiatives empowering the rural masses and providing e-Governance at gram panchayats.
